Internship Credit

Fall 2014: Internship Credit & Student Employment

Students with qualified Student Employment positions, either on-campus or in Community Work-Study, may be eligible to enroll in UNIV 390: Internship Seminar in Organizational & Community Leadership. Students who have an internship in non-profit organization, government agency, or for-profit business will reflect on their experiences in the context of leadership and organization theory as well as civic professionalism, engagement and identity development. This course will be ideal for students who have already done an academic internship in their major or are looking for an opportunity to explore internship opportunities that perhaps fall outside of their major, especially in the non-profit field.

This course fulfills the University's "Engaged Learning" requirement.  Receiving credit for your work does NOT impact Work-Study status in any way.
