UPDATED For Spring!

  1. News You Can Use:

Announcement:  The Student Employment Program is not part of the Career Development Center and Kathryn is now the Assistant Director, Student Employment, in the Career Development Center. Nothing about the program will change operationally however you will notice a more seamless connection regarding your access to Career Employer services such as job fairs, on-campus recruiting, etc. The Community Work-Study Program will continue to work closely with the Center for Experiential Learning.

Reminder #1:  Work-Study Fund Appeals will be extremely conservativly awarded for the remainder of this semester. Please take note of your work-study student's current remaining work-study balance in order to plan accordingly for the remainder of the Spring Semester. Students are able to obtain an updated work-study balance by visiting the HUB.

Reminder #2:  Reimbursement requests must be submitted after every pay period (either every 2 weeks or every 30 days). Failure to do so creates problems with your student's work-study account and puts your agency at risk in terms of receiving 100% of funds owed. Questions about this? Please ask Kathryn! Deadline #1:  May 7, 2013, is the LAST day you can pay your work-study students and be eligible for reimbursement from Loyola. Time worked after that date is not part of the Financial Aid calendar and, therefore, not reimbursable.

Deadline #2: The last day to post a position for hiring this school year is March 1, 2013.  Please have all position descriptions posted in RamblerLink by this date in order to complete your 2012-2013 hiring.

BONUS: Do you have a work-study student completing an internship at your organization? I might have an offer you'd be interested in! Contact me A.S.A.P. for more information!
