Spring 2013 Government & Nonprofit Career Information Fair

The Government and Nonprofit Job & Internship Fair will provide employers with the opportunity to recruit Chicago-area students and alumni who are highly qualified to work in these areas. Loyola University Chicago is partnering with several area universities to sponsor this annual event. Students and alumni of all educational backgrounds and experience levels are invited to attend.

Employer Registration and Information:  The cost to participate is $100 for government and nonprofit organizations

Student Information:  Students and alumni from Loyola University Chicago and other Consortium schools may attend for free. Non-consortium students will be charged $5 at the door to attend.

Loyola's School of Social Work will hold their annual career fair including a wide range of Social Service agencies. This fair is restricted to Loyola School of Social Work BSW, MSW and alumni. The fair is a wonderful networking opportunity for students and partnering agencies. Students can meet potential employers and learn about specific internship and full-time positions available right away or possible openings in the future..

Spring 2013 Nursing & Health Systems Management Fair

The Spring 2013  Nursing & Health Systems Management Fair is hosted by the Student Nurses' Association of Illinois at Loyola and the Career Development Center with the aim of bringing together health care employers and perspective employees. Recruiters will be able to reach hundreds of students, including those graduating from Loyola's Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, as well as other local universities and colleges. Free admission for Loyola students and alumni. $10 at the door for non-Loyola attendees.

Spring 2013 University Career Fair

At this campus-wide fair, organizations will be recruiting for full-time employment and summer and fall internships in a variety of settings. We anticipate participants from the corporate, non-profit, and government sectors looking for students in all disciplines and majors. Loyola alumni are also encouraged to attend. This fair is free to all current Loyola students and alumni. The fee for non-Loyola students and alumni is $10.00 payable at the door.

The Spring 2013 Communication Career Event will showcase premier organizations from the field of communications. Representatives will be able to meet extraordinary candidates who are seeking field information and full-time/internship opportunities in Advertising, Editing/Writing, Film, Journalism, Marketing, Organizational Communication, Public Relations, Publishing, Radio, Sales, Television, etc. Current students and recent graduates are expected to attend this exciting event. There will be a nominal employer fee for participating in this informal Communication Career event. This fair is restricted to Loyola School of Communication students and alumni.

Fall 2012 Science Week Information Fair

Registration is Free

The purpose of this information fair is to educate students about the extensive career fields and opportunities that exist in the various science and technology disciplines as well as related graduate school programs. It offers a chance to help students learn about options they might not have previously considered in an informal setting, while bringing attention to your organization. Students attending the Information Fair will be majoring in the areas of Physical Science (Chemistry, Physics), Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics & Statistics, Life Science (Biology, Natural Science, Environmental Science) and Pre-Health.

Hiring Our Veterans Fair

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring our Heroes is partnering with the Office of Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka, Illinois Department of Employment Security, DOL-VETS, and Loyola University Chicago to host a one-of-a kind FREE employment fair for Veterans, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses.  This event will be a one-of-a kind FREE hiring fair. Walk-in Veterans and Spouses will be allowed with proper identification.   This event will be open to employers who are committed to hiring our Veterans and to Veteran job seekers, Active Duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses.

Chicago Online Alumni Career Expo

The Chicago Online Alumni Career Expo will connect top Loyola University Chicago alumni talent with top employers in the Chicago area. Hosted by Brazen Connect, the event allows employers to meet hundreds of quality candidates from a number of universities all without leaving their desk! When the event is live, employers will be connected to candidates in one-on-one timed conversations to determine if the candidate is a good fit. Employers will be able to view their profile and their resume while chatting. All of the connections and chats are recorded, so there’s access to the information following the event as well!
