“Winter is a season of recovery and preparation.” – Paul Theroux, Author
It’s been quite a winter in Chicago, but the good news is spring is just around the corner. But while you are still huddled indoors, it’s a great time to reflect on current career plans and your overall sense of readiness for the next step in your career path. CDC advisors are on hand to help you from wherever you stand in the career development process.
Opportunities for career exploration include:
- Career Self-Assessment Workshops (C-SAW) – A two-session workshop designed to help you with your decisions about majors and careers. See your career advisor for registration. Workshops are scheduled February through mid-April.
- Career & Life Planning Seminar (CPSY 224) – A three-credit course that encourages you to combine self-knowledge with information about human development, the world of work, and the global community and to discern and explore potential career paths. Register on April 7 for the 2014 fall semester. Classes will be available at LSC and WTC campuses.
