The fair participants are a consortium of community organizations, employers, and Loyola University Departments. We anticipate hosting a wide variety of organizations from the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Employers attending this event will find students seeking:

Chicago Graduate and Professional School Fair

As a partner school, Loyola University Chicago is proud to announce the Chicago Graduate and Professional School Fair hosted by the University of Illinois at Chicago. Representatives from more than 200 graduate and professional schools nationwide will be available to provide information and materials regarding their specific programs. The event is open to the public and admission is free.

2014 Science Week Information Fair

The Science Week Information Fair educates students about the extensive career fields and opportunities that exist in the various science and technology disciplines as well as related graduate school programs. It offers a chance to help students learn about options they might not have previously considered in an informal setting, while bringing attention to your organization. Students attending the Information Fair will be majoring in the areas of Physical Science (Chemistry, Physics), Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics & Statistics, Life Science (Biology, Natural Science, Environmental Science) and Pre-Health.

Winter Job Shadow Program

Date: Week of January 5
Held at multiple employers locations

As students face an increasingly difficult job market, it is even more important that they have participated in career exploration to focus their skills and interests. Career research and job search preparation are exceptionally important if Loyola students are to be successful in their pursuit of post-graduation employment. In response to these needs, the Career Development Center at Loyola will be organizing a Job Shadowing Program in early 2015. The goal of the program is to expose students to the world of work and see firsthand the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workplace.

2015 Communication Career & Internship Fair

Representatives will be able to showcase their organizations and meet extraordinary candidates from the School of Communication who are seeking field information and career/internship opportunities in Advertising, Editing/Writing, Film, Journalism, Marketing, Organizational Communication, Public Relations, Publishing, Radio, Sales, Television, etc. We are expecting current students and recent graduates to attend this exciting event. Do not miss this excellent opportunity to meet some of the best and most qualified candidates in the field of Communication. Students will be interested in hearing about internship and full-time position opportunities. However, current openings are not required to attend this event.

The annual Spring University Fair is the largest full-time and internship fair held at Loyola. At this university-wide fair, participants are students of all majors, undergraduate and graduate students, who are seeking full-time and summer and fall internship opportunities. Employers will meet exceptional students from Loyola as well as students from neighboring Chicago universities. Free admission for Loyola students and alumni. $10 at the door for non-Loyola attendees.

Free admission for Loyola, DePaul and University of Illinois at Chicago students and alumni. $10 at the door for non-consortium attendees.

The 2015 School of Social Work Career Fair is for organizations seeking to employ students and alumni from the Social Work discipline. Representatives will be recruiting for full time, internship and volunteer opportunities. The fair is open to all SSW students (both BSW and MSW’s), but those who finished in December 2014, who are graduating in May 2015 are especially encouraged to participate.
