Emily Ferron is the Graduate Assistant for the Alternative Break Immersion program. She is excited to work with students on their experiences both at Loyola, in the city of Chicago, and around the world!

Emily is from Cleveland, Ohio and attended John Carroll University, where she majored in Psychology. After college Emily was a Jesuit Volunteer in Chuuk, Micronesia at a Jesuit high school. Upon returning, Emily was a recruiter for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps where she worked with young adults on post graduate volunteer discernment and shared many of her stories about living on an island. When she is not in the campus ministry office or taking classes for her degree in Higher Education, you can find her running, practicing yoga and Zumba, biking, and participating in her favorite leisure activity of thriting. Emily is also an avid Cleveland and Ohio sports fan and is excited to watch the Cleveland Browns win the Super Bowl this season!
