Graduate Assistant-Faith Formation
Originally from Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Aaron has lived in St. Louis, Rome, Chicago, Pine Ridge, SD and back to Chicago over the past 9 years. A graduate of Loyola Univeristy Chicago in 2009 with a B.A. in Classics and minor in Latin, he is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Spiritual Direction, focusing on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. This year, as a part of the program, he will be guiding three people in the Spiritual Exercises' adapted "19th Annotation", a 30-week retreat occuring in every day life.
Aaron will be married in September 2013, and his biggest passions are spirituality and how people relate to the divine in their midst and make meaning out of life. He also loves the Great Outdoors, God's Creation, having visited 9 national parks, and having grown up in a national forest (White Mountains in New Hampshire). His dreams are to learn to farm, run a retreat center and learn to play the cello. In addition to his office, come meet him at St. Thomas of Canterbury Soup Kitchen in Uptown on Tuesdays and Fridays, his favorite place to volunteer!
