About Campus Card
The Campus Card is Loyola's official identification card and identifies Loyola students, faculty and staff to all members of the Loyola community. Faculty and staff Campus Cards are issued upon authorization of their respective offices. Once the Office of Faculty Administration issues a new faculty member his/her Loyola identification number, he/she may receive a Campus Card by visiting a Campus Card Office location.
Similarly, once a staff member begins employment, he/she will be assigned a Loyola identification number which authorizes the Card Office to issue an ID card. Loyola employees are expected to wear their Campus Cards during the course of their workday.
Likewise, once a student is registered for classes, he/she can visit the Campus Card Office to be issued an official Campus Card.
The Campus Card automatically provides access to the university shuttle bus and campus libraries. Departments can also grant specific card holders access to computer labs and other campus buildings by notifying the Department of Campus Safety. The Halas Recreation Center uses the Campus Card as a membership card to gain access to their facility.
The Campus Card may also be used as a pre-paid debit card, using Rambler Bucks, at on-campus dining facilities, Union Station, Damen Hall Express, South Side Market, Water Tower and Lake Shore Campus bookstores, and campus copy centers. It serves as a parking pass for all members of the university community who have signed up for a parking permit. It may also be used as a debit card to pay for occasional parking at several of the parking kiosks.
