University Policy

Alcohol and Other Drugs Policy

A recent review of the alcohol serving policies and practices on campus has led to recommended adjustments in our policy.

These changes are intended to ensure compliance with liquor control laws in Illinois. The following policy has been updated to meet the University AOD policy and to comply with Illinois State laws.   • Reservation Set Up Time

    If you are hosting an event that will require setup in a large MPR-style space, please be sure to allocate at least 1 hour of setup time and 30 minutes of takedown time to your reservation.
  • Spring 2016 Academic Space Waiting List

    Campus Reservations is accepting academic requests for Spring 2016. These requests will be placed on our Academic Waiting List until the course schedule has been finalized (2-3 weeks into the semester). We appreciate your patience. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please email campus-reservations@luc.edu.
  • Spring 2016 requests for DSC/HRC

    Damen Student Center and Halas Recreation Center spaces are now available for Spring 2016 reservation. As always, requests will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. These spaces will be opened for Fall 2016 reservation in mid-March.
  • Rooms with As Is Setup

    Several spaces on Lake Shore Campus come with restricted setup options. Please review the list below to ensure that the room you're requesting is appropriate for your event. You can find more information about each of these spaces in our Room Inventory. MUND Sky Lounge: lounge-style furniture. MUND Greenhouse: lounge-style furniture. LSB 301: lounge-style furniture. MUND 1403/10: classroom-style with tablet chairs. MUND Palm Court: either 8 6-person rounds with chairs or theater-style for a maximum of 70 people. All classrooms also come "as is" and cannot be re-arranged.
