Participant Requirements

Students in the Bridge to Loyola Program must successfully complete the summer program by fully participating in the class, workshops, and outside of class activities. The summer session begins with Orientation and is immediately followed by the Bridge to Loyola Program. Students must also continue to participate in the program throughout their first year at Loyola, which includes the required UNIV 101 seminar course in the Fall semester, a one-credit-hour seminar in the Spring semester.

These program components help students build necessary critical thinking skills, learn successful study strategies, explore majors and career interests, and make a successful transition to college and beyond.
