The following laboratory classes are required to complete the B.S. in Biology degree program.

100-Level Labs

BOTH of the following courses are required:

  • BIOL 111  General Biology Lab I
  • BIOL 112  General Biology Lab II

200-Level Labs

Choose ONE of the following courses:

  • BIOL 252  Cell Lab
  • BIOL 266  Ecology Lab
  • BIOL 283  Genetics Lab

Upper-Level Labs

Choose TWO of the following courses:

  • BIOL XXX  Any 4.0 credit hour lecture/lab course (excludes BIOL 335)
  • BIOL 210  Laboratory Techniques
  • BIOL 252  Cell Lab*
  • BIOL 266  Ecology Lab*
  • BIOL 283  Genetics Lab*
  • BIOL 313  Laboratory in Psychobiology
  • BIOL 342  Human Anatomy
  • BIOL 360  Field Biology
  • BIOL 366  Biochemistry Lab
  • BIOL 373  Neuroscience Laboratory I
  • BIOL 374  Neuroscience Laboratory II
  • BIOL 390  Molecular Biology Laboratory
  • BIOL 395  Special Topics designated as a laboratory
  • BIOL 396  Research
  • BIOL 397  Honors Research
