The Summer of Change for SCPS
We've been very busy at the School of Continuing & Professional Studies and I want to share some of the changes you’ll be seeing in the school when you return for the summer and fall sessions.
First off, if you haven’t heard already from happy graduates at this year’s Commencement, our “Managerial Arts and Leadership” degree is undergoing a change in title, returning to the “BA in Management” (the original name). This is a change in title only, no curriculum will be impacted. You will see the revised degree name reflected on both the SCPS website and your individual graduation audits in the near future.
Another change on the graduation audit – all courses with the ODL course code will be changing, effective immediately, to CPST, for Continuing and Professional Studies. This new prefix will be used for all courses unique to SCPS and provides a better identifier for the School.
You do not need to re-register for Summer or Fall 2012. Registration and Records has already converted all registrations to the new course code. When you check your profile in LOCUS, you will see that the course numbers and course titles have remained the same; the only change is the CPST code.
As always, if you have any questions regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to contact me, Jeremy Joslin, or Ronald Matthews. Best wishes for a safe and fun summer!
