BA in Criminal Justice

The BA in Criminal Justice is comprised of 120 credit hours: 36 credit hours in the major, 9 credit hours SCPS requirements, 48 credit hours of University Core Requirements and 27 credit hours of Electives

CJC 101  Introduction to Criminal Justice (Prerequisite for all other criminal justice courses)

CJC 201  Theories of Criminal Behavior

CJC 202  Courts

CJC 203  Policing

CJC 204  Corrections

CJC 205  Research Methods

Select one of the following courses (3 credit hours):

CJC 322  Criminal Law

CJC 323  Criminal Procedure

Select one of the following courses (3 credit hours):

CJC 399  Capstone Course

CJC 390  Capstone Experience Internship

Four CJC Electives (12 credit hours)

Major courses are offered primarily in the 16 week format during the day at Lake Shore Campus.
