World Class Chicago
A superior American city with leading law firms, as well as research, cultural and not-for-profit institutions, corporations and government agencies in virtually every area of endeavor, Chicago offers unparalleled resources for law students. In addition to being a major U.S. tourist destination, this is one of the most livable major cities in the country.
Chicago's diverse neighborhoods and communities are among the many features that make the city singularly appealing and interesting. Most students live in such neighborhoods as Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park and many more, most of which are convenient to public transportation and offer the benefits of urban living. Some of these areas are within walking distance to the School of Law; others are in student-friendly neighborhoods, mostly along Chicago's lakefront.
Some law students prefer to live right on campus in the newly opened Baumhart Residence Hall and Student Center, located at 26 E. Pearson St., right across the street from the Loyola Law Center.
