Engaged Scholars Faculty Fellows
Nominations for the 2026-2028 Engaged Scholarship Faculty Fellows Program will open in Spring 2026! We encourage full-time faculty to self-nominate or nominate a colleague, encouraging the nominee to complete this simple application form. To apply for this program, in the application form, you will be asked to submit a brief reflection (250 words) responding to: How could the Engaged Scholarship Faculty Fellows Program support your development as a faculty member at Loyola University Chicago?
The Engaged Scholarship Faculty Fellows Program is a cohort-based faculty development program for full-time faculty instructors (NTT, tenure-track, and tenured faculty members) at Loyola University Chicago, facilitated by the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship (CELTS). This program extends for two years (2026 - 2028) and provides access to funding to support your engaged scholarship. The intent of this faculty development program is to create a community of scholars who will develop, build upon, or produce Engaged Scholarship through their work at Loyola University Chicago, including developing Engaged Learning courses, presenting at conferences, and/or publishing articles.

The Engaged Scholarship Faculty Fellows Program is a cohort-based faculty development program for full-time faculty instructors (NTT, tenure-track, and tenured faculty members) at Loyola University Chicago, facilitated by the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship (CELTS). The Innovative and Experiential Pedagogies Faculty Fellows Program is a cohort-based, advanced faculty fellowship program for faculty that have served in the past as faculty fellows for the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship (CELTS) at Loyola University Chicago. This faculty fellowship program offers an advanced form of engagement with CELTS to continue to curate experiential pedagogies and develop strategies to enhance experiential, high-impact, and community-based learning courses to share with other faculty at Loyola University Chicago.
