Loyola University Chicago Commissions Icon from Fr. William McNichols

The Hank Center is excited to receive an icon from the renowned iconographer Fr. Bill McNichols. Fr. Bill has “written” an icon for Loyola University called "The New Pentecost of Viriditas."

Edward Gorey Collaboration: LUC Libraries Wins Majors Award

LUMA is proud to announce that the Loyola University Chicago Libraries have been awarded the prestigious John Cotton Dana Library Public Relations Award. In 2014, the Libraries and LUMA, in cooperation with the Edward Gorey Charitable Trust, presented the first comprehensive exhibitions in Chicago on the writer and artist Edward Gorey.
